We teamed up to tweak the kitchen, as well as the lighting design. The main project involved choosing design materials, creating a color scheme, choosing paint colors and designing window treatments.

For the kitchen, we selected a two-tone cabinet design with espresso=stained wood for the cabinets in the long island, and white for the remainder. We also incorporated frosted-glass doors for the upper cabinets to create visual interest and provide a lightness to the design. The countertops we used were Caesar-stone quartz in a pattern which resembled real stone. My clients chose quartz for the counter top because of its aesthetic appeal and its high performance as compared to granite and other stone materials. The show-stopping, oversized pendant lights were my client’s choice. She loved their whimsical appeal. The crackled ceramic-tile backsplash and light greige wall color complements all the other materials and finishes in this open living space.
