When I met Jill, I immediately took noticeof her beautiful and extensive art collection, and as we began her design project together, I quickly realized that she was more attached to her art collection then to any other piece of furniture or decoration we discussed. I shifted gears and suggested that we begin our project by hanging her art collection.

The breakfast-nook design included a round dining table from Restoration Hardware that can seat six comfortably. The nail-head chairs were upholstered with a stain resistant off white fabric (from RH perennials indoor-outdoor fabric collection). Indoor-outdoor upholstery fabrics such as Sunbrella, have become my go-to choice for upholstered dining chairs as well as sofas and arm chairs, especially for families with children or pets. Nowadays, most of the mid to high end furniture stores offer indoor-outdoor upholstery fabric choices.
