To accommodate the needs of a family of seven, desperately in need of a
larger bathroom, the existing bathroom was doubled in size by expanding it to the adjacent room.
This project was done in collaboration with the
Fisher Hill Group.

The new double window near the tub area added a lot more natural light into this previously dark and
small bathroom. The oversize mirror, visually “doubling” the window, was set into a niche, adding shelf space and visually
expanding the space as well. The corner tub was an ideal solution in terms of
space planning and functionality (could accommodate more then one kid at a time). For tile choices, we opted for classic and timeless - white hexagonal porcelain mosaic tile for the floor, with a white Carrara marble border. We used
large marble tile for the
walls around the shower and tub to give the space a slightly more contemporary feel.
